“Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas,” a topical docu-series from comedian and writer Wyatt Cenac (“The Daily Show with John Stewart”), will be available for digital download July 16 from HBO Home Entertainment.
The show is the latest addition to HBO’s late-night slate, which also includes “Real Time with Bill Maher” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”
Covering a wide-range of social and cultural issues, the show is divided into four segments: a top-of-show segment that breaks down an issue with an eye toward problem solving; a second comedic segment that field tests solutions to social annoyances of daily life; a third segment consisting of a serialized “deep dive” into an issue to play out over the course of the season; and a wrap-up “call to action” that encourages the audience to keep the conversation going on social media.
