‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Remains Atop Weekly U.K. Home Entertainment Chart
March 24, 2021
Warner Home Video’s Wonder Woman 1984 spent a second week at No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Film Chart through March 24. The Gal Gadot-starring sequel led a shaken-up Top 10 following the British Association for Screen Entertainment’s weeklong “Unforgettable Entertainment” consumer marketing campaign for new and classic titles offered across all major digital retailers.
Former No. 1 Joker rocketed up 18 places to No. 2, landing just ahead of Luc Besson’s 1994 actioner Leon, which entered the Official Film Chart for the first time at No. 3. Spider-Man: Far From Home held onto No. 4, while Avengers: Endgame climbed to No. 5 to claim its 18th week in the Top 10.
