Warner Bros. Discovery’s MotorTrend Group Launches FAST Streaming Channel

Warner Bros. Discovery business unit MotorTrend Oct. 26 announced the launch of a (FAST) free ad-supported streaming television channel. Available on Samsung TV Plus and Xumo, the FAST channel compliments MotorTrend+, the ad-free subscription streaming service dedicated entirely to the motoring world and MotorTrend TV already available in 73 million homes.

MotorTrend FAST TV, will stream MotorTrend’s most popular shows in the U.S and Canada, such as “Roadkill,” “Bitchin’ Rides” and “Texas Metal,” among others, online without a subscription.

“With MotorTrend FAST TV we have the opportunity to reach new audiences who may not have sampled our offering in the past,” Mark Jocson, VP of distribution and partnerships for MotorTrend Group, said in a statement.

FAST programming highlights include:

  • Low Buck Builds series such as “Dirt Every Day” and “Roadkill’s Junkyard Garage” showcasing MotorTrend’s crew of engine ingenuity and knowledge with a focus on function, not appearance.
  • Classics and Restorations take viewers inside the craftsmanship of stunning, one-of-a-kind custom rebuilds that blend performance and style. Series include “Iron Resurrection,” “Unique Rides” and “Speed is the New Black.”
  • Do-It-Yourself shows that provide helpful tips, tricks and recommendations for the at home hobbyist builder such as “Engine Masters,” “All Girls Garage,” “Four-Wheeler” and “Car Fix.”
  • Late Model Showcase with shows including “Head 2 Head” and “Ignition” provides answers to those wondering what’s new, what’s fast and what’s cool in the automotive world.
