‘The Grinch’ Steals Top Rung on U.K. Home Entertainment Chart

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s catalog title The Grinch snagged the top spot on the Official Film Chart in the United Kingdom through Dec. 1, underscoring the beginning of the festive season.

The 2018 animated film, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as The Grinch, saw strong digital download sales help it climb three spots and bump Disney/Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to the No. 2 spot.

Warner’s The Suicide Squad and Paramount Home Entertainment’s Paw Patrol: The Movie both moved down one spot, while Jim Carrey’s live-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Universal) leaped nine spots to No. 5 to return to the top 10.
