‘Tenet’ Leads Disc Sales in January

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s Tenet rolled into January the same way it finished out December — as the month’s top-selling disc.

The latest thriller from director Christopher Nolan was No. 1 on the top 10 list of combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc unit sales for January 2021 according to the NPD Group’s VideoScan tracking service. Th month’s No. 2 seller was the movie that topped the weekly chart the first full week of 2021 — Paramount’s Love and Monsters, a post-apocalyptic romp about a man searching for his girlfriend in a world overrun by monsters.

The latest Liam Neeson actioner, Universal Pictures’ Honest Thief, released on disc the last week of 2020, was January’s No. 3 seller.
