Jan. 17 offered another low-key new-release slate that didn’t inspire the big retailers to rush to restock their shelves. However, Best Buy continues to take preorders for exclusive Steelbooks on several upcoming titles.
Among them is the 2001 crime thriller Training Day, which the newly christened Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment recently announced for a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release that arrives Feb. 28. While the standard edition will be widely available, Best Buy’s Steelbook of the 4K combo pack is offered at $32.99.
Denzel Washington won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of corrupt cop Alonzo Harris, whose methods don’t mesh with his idealistic rookie partner, who is played by Ethan Hawke.
