“Dark Matter,” which debuts on Apple TV+ May 8, is based on the novel of the same name. The series follows a physicist in Chicago who is warped into an alternate version of his life and must fight to return to his reality to prevent an alternate version of himself from harming his family.

“Bridgerton,” season three of which debuts May 16 on Netflix, is a historical romance following an eponymous fictional family set in Regency era London.

“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,” which debuts on AMC on Feb. 25, is the sixth series spin-off in the successful “Walking Dead” franchise. The series is set after the conclusion the original “The Walking Dead,” with Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira and Pollyanna McIntosh reprising their roles.

“Young Sheldon,” season seven of which debuts on CBS on Feb. 15, is a prequel spin-off of “The Big Bang Theory” following the exploits of the young child prodigy and his family.

“Heartstopper” returns for its second season Aug. 3. It’s a British coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama created by Alice Oseman and based on her webcomic and graphic novel.

In Warner Bros.’ DC Comics-based Blue Beetle, debuting in theaters Aug. 18, an alien relic chooses Jaime Reyes to be its symbiotic host, bestowing the teenager with a suit of armor that’s capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.

Top anticipated movies available to stream in August include Red, White & Royal Blue, about a secret romance between a fictional First Son and a fictional British prince, streaming on Prime Video starting Aug. 11; Heart of Stone, a spy thriller starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, streaming on Netflix starting Aug. 4; and Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, a live-action film based on the Japanese manga, debuting on Netflix Aug. 3.

“Shadow and Bone” returns for its second season March 16. The fantasy series is based on the books about an orphan girl with special powers.

John Wick: Chapter 4, the next installment in the action series starring Keanu Reeves as a legendary hitman, debuts in theaters March 22.

“The Book of Boba Fett” debuts Dec. 29. It follows the exploits of bounty hunter Boba Fett in the “Star Wars” universe.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, only in theaters starting Dec. 15, is the third film starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and also stars Zendaya. With Spider-Man’s identity revealed, Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange.
