Warner Floats ‘Deep Blue Sea 3’ for Digital and Disc Release

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Deep Blue Sea 3 through digital retailers July 28, and on Blu-ray Disc and DVD Aug. 25.

The film is the latest installment of the franchise that began with the 1999 film Deep Blue Sea, in which researchers experimented with genetically engineering super-intelligent sharks that turned on their creators and destroyed the research platform. The story was repeated in the 2018 direct-to-video movie Deep Blue Sea 2.

She and her crew have set up a mid-ocean laboratory over a sunken island town in the ocean where they are observing the first known Great White mating area. Unfortunately, the enhanced Bull Sharks that escaped in Deep Blue Sea 2 are also there with their own evolutionary goal: cross-breeding with the bigger faster Great Whites.

The cast also includes Nathanial Buzolic, Emerson Brooks, Bren Foster and Reina Aoi.
