Filmmakers and cast members attended a screening for the film Sprinter at the Pacific Theatres at The Grove in Los Angeles April 23. The film, distributed by FilmRise, debuted in theaters April 24. Sprinter tells the story of a Jamaican teen whose rising star in track and field may help reunite him with his mother who is currently living in the United States. The film is executive produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. It also features a cameo by Usain Bolt.
