Reelgood: HBO Max’s ‘House of the Dragon’ Tops Weekly Streaming; Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Samaritan’ Has Strong Debut

While HBO Max’s much-hyped “Game of Thrones” prequel, “House of the Dragon,” dominated weekly household streaming, Sylvester Stallone’s new superhero movie Samaritan finished No. 2 in its Prime Video premiere on Reelgood’s streaming chart through Aug. 31.

The Reelgood weekly top 10 ranking uses first-party data from how 5 million users in the U.S. interact with movies and TV shows on the platform in real time.

Hulu had three titles on the chart, including the new series, “Welcome to Wrexham,” and “The Patient.” The horror genre continued to resonate with Peacock Premium’s The Black Phone and Orphan: First Kill (Paramount+), as Netflix’s Me Time took No. 5.
