Performing to a sold-out crowd of 10,000 diehard fans at the MidFlorida Amphitheater in Tampa during their 2019 Altimate Tour, Bush put on a 90-minute concert that was filmed in 4K UHD with 15 cameras to capture the show from every angle. Produced by award-winning producer Barry Summers of Rock Fuel Media, the concert features the band’s biggest hits including “Machinehead,” “Glycerine,” “Comedown,” “Swallowed,” “Everything Zen” and their newest hit song “Bullet Holes” from the John Wick 3 soundtrack.
The thriller Ladyworld, the horror title Verotika and the rock concert title Christian Death are coming on disc in March from MVD Entertainment Group and Cleopatra Entertainment.
Due March 13 on DVD plus CD is Christian Death, a rare live concert film of the band from 1990, featuring original band founder Rozz Williams on lead vocals with Eva O on vocals, Rikk Agnew on guitars, Casey Chaos on bass guitar and Vic (Cujo) on drums. Tracks include “Cavity-First Communion,” “Figurative Theater,” “Burnt Offerings,” “Do Do,” “Mysterium Iniquitis” and “Dream for Mother,” among others. The release includes a 12-page booklet.
In the mystery-thriller Ladyworld, coming on Blu-ray March 17, eight teenage girls become trapped in an endless birthday party after a massive (imaginary?) earthquake. The girls’ sanity and psyches dissolve as they run out of food and water. Eventually, they regress to their baser instincts, exploiting each other’s fears and insecurities.
Verotika, coming March 17 on in a package with Blu-ray, DVD and a bonus CD soundtrack, is a surreal and bloody horror anthology told in three tales culled from rock legend Glenn Danzig’s long-running comic imprint of the same name. The first segment tells the story of a woman with eyeballs for nipples who conjures a giant, murderous albino man-spider every time she falls asleep. In the second story, a disfigured dancer collects other women’s faces. The third and final segment is a take on the Elizabeth Bathory legend, about a countess who bathes in the blood of virgins in order to remain youthful. The trilogy is presented by a mysterious woman named Morella (Kayden Kross). The CD Soundtrack includes Danzig’s “Eyes Ripping Fire,” Ministry’s “Dancing Madly Backwards on a Sea of Air” and Jyrki 69’s “Close Your Eyes,” among others.
