The George Clooney-Julia Roberts rom-com Ticket to Paradise topped the chart of the 10 most-popular films on Fandango’s transactional digital service Vudu the week ended Nov. 13.
The Universal Pictures film, which debuted for premium digital purchase and rental Nov. 8, stars Clooney and Roberts as exes who find themselves on a shared mission to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the same mistake they once made.
Paramount’s series juggernaut Yellowstone: Season 5, Part 1 landed at No. 2 on the chart. The series follows family patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Coster), who is determined to protect his ranch and his family’s legacy.
Director Damien Leone’s horror sequel Terrifier 2, which debuted for digital rental and purchase Nov. 11, landed at No. 3. In the film, after being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County and targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night.
Dropping from the top spot to No. 4 on the chart was Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick, available for digital purchase and rental. The sequel features Tom Cruise reprising his role as daring pilot Maverick, who is assigned to teach a group of Top Guns how to complete a difficult mission.
Falling from No. 2 to No. 5 on the chart was Universal Pictures’ Idris Elba-starring thriller Beast, available for digital rental and on sale for digital purchase. The film stars Elba as a recently widowed doctor who returns to South Africa on a long-planned trip to a game reserve. He and his daughters find themselves hunted by a rogue lion.
