Set in the near future, the film stars Hugh Jackman as Nick, a merchant of nostalgia who navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. When she vanishes without a trace, his obsession to find her uncovers a dangerous conspiracy.

The cast also includes Thandiwe Newton, Cliff Curtis, Marina de Tavira, Daniel Wu, Mojean Aria, Brett Cullen, Natalie Martinez, Angela Sarafyan and Nico Parker.

Reminiscence is the feature directorial debut of Lisa Joy, who also wrote the screenplay and produced the film alongside her husband, Jonathan Nolan. The pair previously developed HBO’s “Westworld.” Other producers include Michael De Luca and Aaron Ryder, with executive producers Athena Wickham, Elishia Holmes and Scott Lumpkin.

The film earned $3.9 million at the domestic box office.

The Blu-ray, DVD and 4K editions will include a “Crafting a Memory” featurette. The Blu-ray and 4K combo packs will also include the featurettes “You’re Going on a Journey,” “The Sunken Coast,” Reminiscence: A Family Reunion” and “Save My Love.”
