First Season of ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Slated for DVD Sept. 6

CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment will release NCIS: Hawai’i: Season One on DVD Sept. 6.

“NCIS: Hawai’i” stars Vanessa Lachey as Jane Tennet, the first female special agent in charge of of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at Pearl Harbor. Tennant has thrived and risen through the ranks by equal parts confidence and strategy in a system that has pushed back on her every step of the way. Together with her unwavering team of specialists, they balance duty to family and country while investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the sun-drenched island paradise itself.

The season includes special guest appearances from Wilmer Valderrama and Katrina Law of the original “NCIS” series.

The six-disc collection features all 22 episodes from the first season and exclusive bonus content.

‘NCIS’ Season 19 Coming to DVD Aug. 16

CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment will release NCIS: The Nineteenth Season on DVD Aug. 16.

The five-disc collection offers all 21 episodes from the show about military investigators, including the final episodes of Mark Harmon as special agent Gibbs.

From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.

The DVD set also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes featurettes.

Nielsen: ‘NCIS’ Re-Runs on Netflix Dominate Weekly Streaming

Re-runs of CBS drama “NCIS” on Netflix dominated streaming video consumption in U.S. homes for the week of April 19-25, according to new Nielsen data. The series tracked 890 million minutes across 353 episodes, topping the latest episode of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” on Disney+ with 796 million minutes. Netflix original movie Stowaway topped movie consumption with 359 million minutes.

Final Season of ‘Hawaii Five-O’ Among CBS July-August DVD Slate

CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment July 28 will release Hawaii Five-O: The Final Season on DVD.

The DVD set includes all 22 episodes of the 10th season of the remake of the classic police drama. The modern take deals with an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the islands’ sun-drenched beaches. The cast includes Alex O’Loughlin as Det. Steve McGarrett, a decorated Naval officer turned cop; Scott Caan as Det. Danny “Danno” Williams, a relocated ex-New Jersey cop who is committed to keeping the islands safe for his children; Chi McBride as Capt. Lou Grover, who formerly headed Hawaii’s SWAT unit; Jorge Garcia as Jerry Ortega, the islands’ local conspiracy theorist; Meaghan Rath as Tani Rey, a bold, recent police academy graduate; Beulah Koale as Junior Reigns, a former SEAL who comes to McGarrett looking for a job; and Ian Anthony Dale as Adam Noshimuri, a friend with old ties to a deadly crime family.

Due Aug. 4 on DVD is NCIS: Los Angeles — The Eleventh Season, containing all 22 episodes of the procedural. The show stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J as two agents of a division of NCIS who protect and seize criminals that threaten the nation’s security.

Aug. 11 sees the release of NCIS: New Orleans — The Sixth Season on DVD, with 20 episodes. The police procedural drama television series stars Scott Bakula as Special Agent Dwayne Pride and Lucas Black as Special Agent Christopher Lasalle.

‘Criminal Minds: Season 13,’ ‘Bull: Season 2’ Among Latest Batch of CBS TV DVD Announcements

Paramount Home Media Distribution and CBS Home Entertainment have slated DVDs of Criminal Minds: The Thirteenth Season and NCIS: Los Angeles — The Ninth Season for release Aug. 28, followed by Bull: Season Two and Hawaii Five-O: The Eighth Season Sept. 4.

“Criminal Minds” revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country’s most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” focuses on a division of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals who pose a threat to national security.

“Bull” stars Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull in a drama inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, the founder of one of the most prolific trial consulting firms of all time.

“Hawaii Five-O” is a remake of the classic series about crime-fighters in Hawaii.

CBS Slates Batch of DVDs for August, Including ‘SEAL Team: Season One’

Paramount Home Media Distribution and CBS Home Entertainment have slated DVDs of NCIS: New Orleans: The Fourth Season and SEAL Team: Season One for release Aug. 14, followed by Blue Bloods: The Eighth Season and NCIS: The Fifteenth Season Aug. 21.

“NCIS” focuses on cases of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and the complex and amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations.

“NCIS: New Orleans” is a drama starring Scott Bakula about the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy.

“SEAL Team” is a military drama starring David Boreanaz that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute dangerous, high stakes missions.

“Blue Bloods” is a drama starring Tom Selleck about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
