BritBox North America May 12 announced the appointment of Nada Arnot to the newly created post of SVP of marketing. With two decades of experience, Arnot will lead and manage the marketing and communications efforts across the the $6.99 monthly subscription streaming service, including strategy, creative, partnerships and media buying. Arnot will report directly to Emily Powers, head of BritBox North America.
In her new role, Arnot will guide and mentor a team of marketing, communications and creatives to drive brand. Her appointment comes in the midst of accelerated global growth for BritBox, as co-owners BBC Studios and ITV have recently announced plans for BritBox to expand in up to 25 countries, including South Africa later this year.
“With Nada’s proven leadership and accomplishments in streaming, I am confident that she is exactly what our team needs as we continue to grow in North America and beyond,” Powers said in a statement.
Arnot joins BritBox from AMC Networks where she was GM of Sundance Now. Prior to that role, Arnot was head of marketing for AMC Networks’ SVOD business, building the operating model and strategic plan for subscription streaming video services.
