Shout! Studios, the multi-platform entertainment distribution and production arm of Shout! Factory, has acquired North American rights to two young adult comedy features directed by Aaron Lee Lopez, Teenage Girl: Valerie’s Holiday and Teenage Vampire, both from Mutt Productions.
Under the agreement, Shout! Studios gets domestic theatrical and home entertainment rights (broadcast, digital, video-on-demand, and all packaged media) for cross-platform releases. Shout! Studios plans a strategic launch for both films, beginning with the release of Teenage Girl: Valerie’s Holiday on major entertainment platforms later this year.
The deal was negotiated by Shout’s Jordan Fields, VP of acquisitions, and Steven Katz, VP of business affairs, and Dead Rabbit Films’ David Chackler and Nadia Redler, along with Kurt Wipfli for Mutt Productions.
