Netflix has hired Michelle Slavich as VP of publicity for the SVOD pioneer’s series, film and documentaries in the U.S. and Canada. Slavich most recently held a similar position at the Warner Bros. studio since 2018. She reports to Rachel Whetstone, Netflix’s communication boss. The two previously worked together at Google-owned YouTube for the launch of YouTube Premium.
At Warner, Slavich worked on PR campaigns for Oscar-winning movies A Star Is Born and Joker.
“Michelle is a respected PR leader who brings us a powerful blend of creative flair, strategic thinking, and an understanding of how to execute great campaigns at scale,” CCO Ted Sarandos said in a statement.

So many great memories. … I will miss my team so much.”
