Rom-com ‘Love, Weddings & Other Disasters’ Heads to Disc Feb. 2

Lionsgate will release the zany romantic comedy Love, Weddings & Other Disasters on Blu-ray Disc (with digital copy) and DVD Feb. 2, 2021.

With a couple’s impending wedding as the backdrop, the film weaves multiple storylines as it follows the search for love by a colorful group of characters. One features an inexperienced wedding planner (Maggie Grace) nicknamed “The Wedding Trasher”; another focuses on a tour-bus guide (Andrew Bachelor) looking for his Cinderella. Then there’s the story of a fussy celebrity caterer (Jeremy Irons) pursuing his blind date (Diane Keaton), who turns out to actually be blind.

Extras include an audio commentary with co-screenwriter and director Dennis Dugan; descriptive audio commentary for the blind; and the featurette “A Celebration: Making Love, Weddings, and Other Disasters.”

‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Season 4 on Disc March 5

Lionsgate will release Fear the Walking Dead: The Complete Fourth Season on Blu-ray and DVD March 5.

The season features Lennie James joining the cast as the character of Morgan, crossing over from “The Walking Dead.” Other new cast members include Maggie Grace, Garret Dillahunt and Jenna Elfman, joining returning regulars Alycia Debnam-Carey, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia in the continuing quest to survive in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies.

The home video release includes audio commentaries from the cast and crew on four episodes.

Lionsgate Planning ‘Hurricane Heist’ for Home Release

Lionsgate will release the action movie The Hurricane Heist digitally May 29, and on Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray June 5.

The Hurricane Heist tells the story of a group of criminals trying to steal $600 million from a U.S. Mint facility and escape using a category five hurricane as cover, with only a treasury agent and a storm chaser in a position to stop them.

Directed by Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious), the film stars Toby Kebbell (Kong: Skull Island), Maggie Grace (Taken, “Lost”) and Ryan Kwanten (“True Blood”).

Bonus materials include deleted scenes, a VFX reel, commentary with Cohen, and the featurettes “The Eye of the Storm” and “Hollywood Heist: A Conversation with Rob Cohen.”

The 4K and Blu-ray versions will include Dolby Atmos audio.
