New International FAST Channel to Focus on Movies and Shows for Women

Three independent production and distribution companies on Oct. 12 officially announced the launch of a new FAST channel devoted to celebrating and entertaining women.

Daro Film Distribution (Monaco), Corbi (Spain) and Enlighten Content (United States) have teamed up to launch MyTime Movie Network. The channel offers global audiences thousands of hours of thrillers, romantic comedies and dramas, holiday films, sports documentaries, reality shows and female-led series.

Conceptualized during the pandemic, the three companies created a joint venture, AppleTree LLC, to operate MyTime Movie Network, which currently has seven different feeds in 19 countries, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Australia. Most recently, the MyTime Movie Network launched in Latin Spanish on Tubi.

MyTime Movie Network is also creating original programming. The network is behind the lifestyle TV series “@Home With Tori.” Season one of the 10-part series premiered on Vizio last June, and season two is in pre-production by MyTime.

MyTime Movie Network is also developing 10 original thriller and romance films. Upcoming projects also include a limited Christmas series with TF1 called “Xmas Clue.”

Corbi has been in the entertainment business for over 30 years, with major output deals in the Spanish market and more than 600 titles under control. Daro Film Distribution represents more than 100 production companies from around the world with a catalog of over 5,000 hours of programming, from theatrical films and action series to TV movies, cartoons and documentaries. Enlighten Content has produced over 200 network originals and platform programs and continues to produce content for some of the largest studios, networks and platforms.

Jacob Nasser stated: “It’s an absolute delight to finally announce that we are the forces behind the MyTime Movie Network. We entered this market two years ago while we visualized a niche for our content as legacy producers and distributors. We now control this space as AVOD platforms continue to expand. What sets us apart is our originals that we’ve launched and are continuing to produce. We have a very different kind of FAST channel, our high quality product looks and feels like cable programming in the Fast world and we are thrilled to continue to expand in new territories and markets globally.”
