The thriller Titane and the Western The Last Son are being released on DVD Jan. 18 from Decal and Distribution Solutions.

In Titane, with a titanium plate surgically fused to her skull following a car crash as a child, car model Alexia embarks on a wild and ultimately unpredictable journey that questions our assumptions about family, identity, and love.

In The Last Son, a murderous outlaw learns he is cursed by a terrible prophecy: that he will be killed by one of his children. The film stars Sam Worthington, Machine Gun Kelly and Thomas Jane.

Horror Releases ‘Last of the Grads,’ ‘The Zombie Collection’ and Comedy ‘The Contrast’ Hitting Home Jan. 18 From Mill Creek

The horror releases Last of the Grads and “The Zombie Collection” as well as the comedy The Contrast are being released into the home entertainment market by Mill Creek Entertainment Jan. 18. 

In Last of the Grads, available on DVD, the nation is captivated by a series of letters to the media claiming responsibility for dozens of unsolved murders spanning across the United States over the last 25 years. Meanwhile, in the quiet town of Shelby, Fla., school’s out, but softhearted high school senior Emma Bradley (Jessica Lang) isn’t quite ready to move on. Her childhood bestie Donna McCormick (Sara Eklund) persuades her to go to the annual senior bash for one last hurrah before their lives change forever.

Due on digital is the comedy The Contrast. In the film, on the day before her wedding to a self-absorbed hipster, a young woman meets an Army Colonel and struggles to decide between duty and love.

“The Zombie Collection,” a collection of four films, is due on DVD. In Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies, a group of young snowboarders are stuck in a remote mountain ski resort, where an all-night après-ski party turns into a hellish nightmare of zombie mayhem. In Granny of the Dead, regular guy Ed (Marcus Carroll) awakes one morning to find his grandmother has become one of the living dead. In Attack of the Killer Donuts, a chemical accident turns ordinary donuts into bloodthirsty killers. And in Harold’s Going Stiff, Harold is suffering from a frightening new disease that is turning him into a zombie. After an experimental new treatment fails, Harold’s condition deteriorates, and he ends up on the run from a group of violent vigilantes who are out for blood.

Lockdown Comedy ‘Together’ Due on DVD Jan. 4 From Distribution Solutions

The lockdown comic drama Together will be released on DVD Jan. 4 from Distribution Solutions and Bleecker Street’s Decal.

The film, starring James McAvoy, Sharon Horgan and Samuel Logan, follows a husband and wife who are forced to re-evaluate themselves and their relationship through the reality of the COVID-19 lockdown. She is a coordinator for all of Europe at a refugee charity. He is a self-employed, self-made man who runs a boutique computing consultancy. 

Together is directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin.

‘Spencer’ Due on DVD and Blu-ray Jan. 11 From Distribution Solutions

Spencer, starring Kristin Stewart, is being released on DVD and Blu-ray Jan. 11 from Distribution Solutions, Neon and Decal.

In the film based on the life of Princess Diana, the marriage of Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. The film is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.

In addition to Stewart (“The Twilight Saga,” Charlie’s Angels, Snow White and the Huntsman), the drama also stars Timothy Spall (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and 2, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), Jack Farthing (“Poldark”) and Sean Harris (Mission Impossible, The Green Knight). Spencer is directed by Pablo Larrain (Jackie).

The discs include a making-of featurette.

Cannes Award Winner ‘Titane’ Traveling to Blu-ray Jan. 18 From Distribution Solutions

The Cannes Film Festival award winner Titane will debut on Blu-ray Jan. 18 from Distribution Solutions, a division of Alliance Entertainment, along with Neon and Decal.

From director Julia Ducournau (Raw), the erotic French thriller follows car model Alexia, who has a titanium plate surgically fused to her skull following a car crash as a child. She embarks on a wild and ultimately unpredictable journey that questions assumptions about family, identity and love.

The film won the Palme d’Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and stars Vincent Lindon (The Measure of a Man, My Cousin, Another World), Agathe Rousselle (Loving, 5 Vagues de L’avenir) and Garance Marillier (Raw, Warning, Ad Vitam).

The horror film The Lockdown Hauntings, the romance Christmas With a Prince: The Royal Baby, the mystery thriller Make Up and the horror comedy I Need You Dead! are among the titles available on DVD and digitally from Distribution Solutions.

The horror film The Lockdown Hauntings is available on DVD and digital from GVN Releasing. The film follows a notorious serial killer back from the dead and on the prowl during COVID lockdown. Directed by Howard Ford, the film stars Tony Todd of Candyman fame, Angela Dixon and Heather Peace.

The romance Christmas With a Prince: The Royal Baby is available on DVD from Brain Power. In the holiday film, things get complicated for the expecting Prince Alexander and Dr. Tasha when a royal state visit is planned abroad, passing through her hometown. A slight scare delays their return, and the couple must struggle with defying tradition and delivering, literally, on expectations. 

In the horror comedy I Need You Dead!, available on DVD and digital from Mill Creek Entertainment, after a moment of teenage angst, a young punk finds himself at odds with a psychedelic monster of his own creation.

In the mystery thriller Make Up, also available on DVD and digital from Mill Creek Entertainment, when reserved teenager Ruth (Molly Windsor) finds a smeared lipstick stain on her boyfriend Tom’s (Joseph Quinn) mirror and a strand of red hair on his T-shirt, a sense of unease creeps into their camper. Refusing to confront Tom with the discovery, Ruth tries to find the mysterious red-haired girl.

Satire ‘The Pizzagate Massacre’ to Bow Digitally Nov. 19 From Distribution Solutions

The Archstone satire The Pizzagate Massacre will be released digitally Nov. 19 from Distribution Solutions.

The dark social satire is inspired by the real-life conspiracy theory known as Pizzagate. It follows an amateur journalist and a far-right militiaman who team up to expose the ugly truth behind rumors involving sex cults, a pizza place and lizard people.

Directed by John Valley, he film stars Lee Eddy, Gary Teague and Reynolds Washam.

Distribution Solutions Inks Distribution Deal With Glass House

Distribution Solutions, a division of Alliance Entertainment, has inked a deal to handle digital and physical sales, distribution, and marketing of Glass House Distribution sellthrough releases in the United States and Canada.

Glass House Distribution has a wide-ranging collection of films and television including comedies “Me, Myself, and Di,” “About Hope,” and “Canadian Strain”; dramas “Skipping Stones,” “Shuttlecock” and “Gutterbug”; horror titles including La Patasola, If She Screams and Infrared Dreams; and thriller, science fiction, family and documentary titles.

“What Glass House Distribution brings to the table with their extensive catalog of feature films and television has us thrilled to partner in business with them,” Distribution Solutions president Ben Means said in a statement. “They are a company founded by filmmakers, so their depth of knowledge into representing quality film and TV is unparalleled.”

Based in New York and Los Angeles, Glass House was founded by Tom Malloy and Bryan Glass in 2015.

“We’re very excited to work with Distribution Solutions and to be able to allow films to reach more platforms and a bigger audience,” said president and co-founder Malloy.

Distribution Solutions will bow its first Glass House release Jan. 7.

Distribution Solutions Inks Distribution Deal With Powerhouse Films Label

Distribution Solutions, a division of Alliance Entertainment, has inked a physical media partnership with Powerhouse Films’ U.K.-based label Indicator.

Distribution Solutions will handle sales and distribution of all Powerhouse Films sellthrough releases in the United States and Canada.

The first physical Powerhouse Films releases distributed by Distribution Solutions will be available for purchase in January 2022.

Powerhouse Films has an extensive collection of classic films that includes limited-edition boxed sets and single-title releases, as well as standard-edition reissues of limited-edition titles that have gone out of print, such as John Carpenter’s Christine, Jacques Tourneur’s Night of the Demon and Dennis Hopper’s The Last Movie.
