Amy Schumer Comedy ‘I Feel Pretty’ Due on Digital July 3, Disc July 17

The Amy Schumer comedy I Feel Pretty, will come out on digital July 3 and on Blu-ray Disc, DVD and On Demand July 17 from STXfilms and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Schumer stars as Renee, a woman who struggles with feelings of insecurity and inadequacy.  After suffering a fall, she wakes up believing she is suddenly the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet.

The film also stars Michelle Williams, Rory Scovel, Busy Philipps, Aidy Bryant, Emily Ratajkowski, Naomi Campbell, Tom Hopper, Sasheer Zamata and Lauren Hutton.

I Feel Pretty earned $46.9 million at the box office.

Blu-ray, DVD and Digital bonus features include deleted scenes, a gag reel and the featurette “Being Pretty,” in which the cast reflects on what it means to be pretty.

‘Counterpart: The Complete First Season’ Due on Disc July 31 From Lionsgate

J.K. Simmons stars in Counterpart: The Complete First Season, arriving on Blu-ray Disc (plus digital) and DVD July 31 from Lionsgate.

In the first season of “Counterpart,” Howard Silk (Simmons) is a lowly cog in the bureaucratic machinery of a Berlin-based United Nations spy agency. When Howard discovers that his organization safeguards the secret of a crossing into a parallel dimension, he is thrust into a shadow world of intrigue, danger, and double cross — where the only man he can trust is his near-identical counterpart from this parallel world.

Bruce Campbell Ash vs Evil Dead: Season 3, the final season, arrives on digital May 25 and on Blu-ray (plus digital) and DVD Aug. 21 from Lionsgate.

The Starz series follows up the classic horror film The Evil Dead with Bruce Cambell reprising his role as Ashalongside Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo and Arielle Carver-O’Neill. In season three, Ash, having gone from urban legend to hometown, discovers that he has a daughter.

The Ash vs Evil Dead: Season 3 Blu-ray ($39.97) and DVD ($34.98) include audio commentary with executive producer Rob Tapert on every episode.

Historical Thriller ‘Chappaquiddick’ Due on Digital July 3, Disc July 10 From Lionsgate

Chappaquiddick, based on the tragic car accident involving Senator Edward M. Kennedy, will arrive on digital July 3 and Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and digital), DVD, and On Demand July 10 from Lionsgate.

The film stars Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Ed Helms and Bruce Dern in a historical thriller that examines the infamous 1969 death of Mary Jo Kopechne, who drowned after Kennedy drove off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island.

Bonus features include the featurettes “A Reckoning: Revisiting Chappaquiddick” and “Bridge to the Past: Editing the Film.”

The film earned $17.2 million at the domestic box office.

You Were Never Really Here, starring Joaquin Phoenix, will come out on digital July 3 and on Blu-ray (plus digital), DVD and On Demand July 17 from Lionsgate.

Based on Jonathan Ames’s novella of the same name, the Amazon thriller won Best Actor (Phoenix) and Best Screenplay (director Lynne Ramsay) at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Phoenix plays a traumatized veteran, unafraid of violence, who tracks down missing girls for a living. The film also stars Ekaterina Samsonov, Alessandro Nivola and Judith Roberts.

Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare: Unrated Director’s Cut will come out on digital, including Movies Anywhere, on July 3 and on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand July 17 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

In the horror film, a group of friends set out to enjoy their final spring break together, but a harmless game of Truth or Dare turns deadly when someone — or something — begins to punish those who tell a lie — or refuse the dare. Lucy Hale (“Pretty Little Liars“) and Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf“) lead the cast of friends who work together to try and end the terrifying game. The film also stars Violett Beane (“The Flash”), Nolan Gerard Funk (Counterpart), Hayden Szeto (The Edge of Seventeen) and Sophia Taylor Ali (Famous in Love).

The film earned $40.3 million at the box office.

Bonus features on Blu-ray and DVD include the behind-the-scenes featurette “Game On: The Making of Truth or Dare”; “Directing the Deaths,” an inside look at the most memorable death scenes; and feature commentary with director Jeff Wadlow and actress Lucy Hale.

Jim Carrey Thriller ‘Dark Crimes’ Due on Disc July 31

The Jim Carrey crime-thriller Dark Crimes will come out on Blu-ray (plus digital) and DVD July 31 from Lionsgate.

The film is currently available on demand.

Based on The New Yorker article “True Crimes: A Postmodern Murder Mystery,” the film tells the tale of an officer’s pursuit of a murderer whose killings eerily resemble those found in a novel. Dark Crimes also stars Marton Csokas and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Special features include “The Making of Dark Crimes” featurette.

Well Go to Release Russian Epic ‘Furious’ on Disc and Digital June 19

Well Go USA Entertainment will release the Russian historical action epic Furious June 19 on digital, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD.

In the 13th century, Mongol warrior hordes control most of the known world. Terrified by the ruthless invaders, most of the Russian princes surrender their lands on enemy terms, until a knight leads the charge to avenge his love and his homeland.

‘Sherlock Gnomes’ Coming to Digital June 5, Disc June 12

The animated Sherlock Gnomes will be released on digital June 5 and on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD June 12 from Paramount Home Media Distribution and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures (MGM).

Voice talent includes Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, James McAvoy and Mary J. Blige. When Gnomeo (McAvoy) and Juliet (Blunt) discover their friends and family have gone missing, they call legendary detective Sherlock Gnomes (Depp) to find them.

The film made $41.9 million at that box office.

The Blu-ray Combo pack (with DVD) has nearly 45 minutes of bonus content, including the behind-the-scenes featurette “Gnome is Where the Heart Is”; “All Roads Lead to Gnome: London Locations in Sherlock Gnomes”; Miss Gnomer: Mary J.
