A24’s The Green Knight, the critically acclaimed retelling of the medieval story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, has generated more than $12 million at the global box office since debuting on July 30.
Now the adventure drama fantasy co-starring Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander and Joel Edgerton, is set to screen into consumers homes for one night only on Aug. 18. at 8.p.m. CST.
The studio/distributor’s upstart online screening room is offering limited access to the movie for $19.99. Purchasers will have a four-hour window to watch the two-hour movie after starting. A24 began selling screening tickets on Aug. 10.
“You’ll get a reminder email the day of your screening and you can find your tickets under ‘My Tickets’ in the menu,” reads the website. The movie can be streamed on the website or Apple TV and Roku media devices.
