Universal Pictures’ Nobody tops the list of titles available for digital purchase June 8, while Lionsgate’s City of Lies, and Paramount’s The Lovebirds and a new “Indiana Jones” 4K set lead the slate of new disc releases.
The suspense actioner Nobody, starring Bob Odenkirk, is available for digital sellthrough in advance of its June 22 released on Blu-ray Disc, DVD and 4K Ultra HD from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. From the writer of John Wick, it’s the story of an ordinary family man (Odenkirk, “Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul”) who will stop at nothing to defend what is his. Hutch is a suburban husband who takes life’s indignities on the chin and never rocks the boat. But when his daughter loses her beloved kitty-cat bracelet in a robbery, he hits a boiling point no one knew he had, and he flips from regular dad to fearless fighter on a wild ride of explosive revenge.
The science-fiction thriller Voyagers is available for digital purchase June 8 as well, before its June 15 Blu-ray Disc, DVD and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release from Lionsgate. In the film, with the future of the human race at stake, a group of young men and women, bred for intelligence and obedience, embark on an expedition to colonize a distant planet. But when they uncover disturbing secrets about the mission, they defy their training and begin to explore their most primitive natures. As life on the ship descends into chaos, they’re consumed by fear, lust and the insatiable hunger for power.
The crime thriller City of Lies is now available on Blu-ray Disc (with a digital copy) and DVD from Saban Films and Lionsgate. Based on the book LAbyrinth by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Randall Sullivan, the film follows the investigation into the infamous murder of iconic rap artist Notorious B.I.G. Johnny Depp stars as determined LAPD detective Russell Poole, who spends nearly 20 years trying to solve the murder, and Forest Whitaker as Jack Jackson, a journalist who teams up with Poole in search of the elusive truth. Together they explore why the case remains cold — and why a secretive division of the LAPD is seemingly set on keeping it that way.
The comedy The Lovebirds is available June 8 on DVD, digital and on demand June 8 from Paramount Home Entertainment. Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, “Silicon Valley”) and Issa Rae (“Insecure”) star as a couple who experiences a defining moment in their relationship when they are unintentionally embroiled in a murder mystery. As their journey to clear their names takes them from one extreme circumstance to the next, they must figure out how they, and their relationship, can survive the night. Featuring a never-before-seen, unrated cut of the film, the DVD and digital releases also include the original theatrical cut, as well as exclusive bonus content, including a gag reel, deleted scenes, a “Line-O-Rama,” interviews with the cast and a Lovebirds quiz.
Paramount Home Entertainment and Lucasfilm June 8 releases the Indiana Jones 4-Movie Collection on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. The set will also include digital copies of all four films: 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Each film has been meticulously remastered from 4K scans of the original negatives with extensive visual effects work done to ensure the most pristine and highest quality image. All picture work was approved by director Steven Spielberg. The 4K presentation includes Dolby Vision and HDR-10, plus Dolby Atmos audio. All four films were remixed at Skywalker Sound under the supervision of sound designer Ben Burtt. All original sound elements were used to achieve the fully immersive Dolby Atmos mixes while staying true to each film’s original creative intent. The four-movie collection is also being re-released on standard Blu-ray.
The thriller Flashback comes out on Blu-ray, DVD and digital from Lionsgate. In the film, after a chance encounter with a man forgotten from his youth, Fredrick Fitzell (Dylan O’Brien) starts having horrific visions of Cindy (Monroe), a girl who vanished in high school. After reaching out to old friends with whom he used to take a mystery drug called Mercury, Fredrick realizes the only way to stop the visions lies deep within his own memories, so he embarks on a terrifying mental odyssey to learn the truth.

Shout! Studios and Scream Factory in collaboration with VMI Worldwide releases the supernatural thriller The Unhealer through digital retailers and on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, as well as VOD, on June 8. Each collectible Blu-ray Disc and DVD of The Unhealer includes behind-the-scenes interviews, alternative/ extended scenes, a gag reel, and deleted scenes.Directed by writer, producer, and filmmaker Martin Guigui (Beneath the Darkness, The Bronx Bull, Future World), the film stars Natasha Henstridge (Species, The Whole Nine Yards) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Near Dark). The film is about a bullied teenager who gains the means to fight back when a botched faith healing bestows supernatural, shamanistic powers upon him. When his lifelong tormentors pull a prank that causes the death of someone he loves, the teen uses his newfound abilities for revenge and goes on a bloody rampage to settle the score.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases Fuller House: The Fifth and Final Season on DVD June 8. The two-disc set will include all 18 episodes from the final season of the Netflix sitcom, a sequel to the 1987-95 comedy “Full House” in which eldest daughter D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) is now a veterinarian and recently widowed mother trying to raise three boys on her own. She is joined by her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and Kimmy’s teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas), who move in to lend their support and help raise D.J.’s kids. Additional members from the Full House original cast make guest appearances throughout the series. In the fifth season of “Fuller House,” the Tanner childhood house is fuller than ever with DJ’s three boys, Stephanie’s new baby, and Kimmy’s feisty family, as the she-wolf pack prepares for a triple wedding and celebrates all the memories that have led them there. A complete-series DVD set of all five seasons also is available.
The Chinese action film Undercover Punch & Gun comes out on digital, Blu-ray and DVD June 8 with an new English dub from Well Go USA Entertainment. In the action-packed MMA thriller, while an elite cop is working undercover to infiltrate a notorious drug ring, his plan is compromised when a rival agency with a grudge attacks during a trade, killing the gang’s leader. Their cover blown, both teams are forced to unite and take to the high seas in an attempt to overthrow the ruthless smuggler behind it all.
The Ice-T film Equal Standard arrives on digital June 8, before a July 6 release on DVD and Blu-ray from Mill Creek Entertainment and Mutiny Pictures. Taheim Bryan’s writing and acting debut inspired by his life experience, the film tells the timely and politically charged story of police in New York City struggling with race, rank, betrayal and loss. Directed by Brendan Kyle Cochrane, the story is an billed as an unflinching — and unbiased — lens on the lives of police and the community they’re called upon to protect, and what happens when that covenant goes sideways, offering a perspective from both sides of the law.
The horror film The Stylist arrives on Blu-ray and DVD June 8 from Arrow Video. The female-led psychological horror film was nominated for the New Visions Award for Best Motion Picture at the 2020 Sitges International Film Festival and based on co-writer/director Jill Gevargizian’s award-winning short film of the same name. We all dream of being someone else, but for Claire (Najarra Townsend, Contracted), that dream goes from an obsession to a living nightmare. Hairstylist by day, serial killer and collector of scalps by night, Claire’s lonely existence is thrown into turmoil when her regular client, Olivia (Brea Grant, After Midnight, Lucky), asks her to style her hair for her wedding day. Increasingly fixated on Olivia’s seemingly flawless life, Claire vows to lock up her scalp collection and change her ways for good — only to discover that repressing deadly desires is easier said than done. It will be released digitally June 15.
