‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Swings to Top Spot on Disc Sales Charts

Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: No Way Home easily debuted at No. 1 on the NPD VideoScan First Alert chart, which tracks combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc unit sales, and the dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart the week ended April 16.

The Marvel Studios’ production and third “Spider-Man” movie with Tom Holland as the headliner has earned more than $804 million at the domestic box office and $1.89 billion worldwide. The film notably features the returns of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spideys from their respective earlier films to assist Holland’s iteration when the barriers between universes begin to collapse and a number of villains from earlier movies team up to threaten the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
