Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Uncharted saw its debut on U.K. home entertainment chart, the Official Film Chart, shoot straight to No. 1 for the week ended May 4.
The action-adventure film, based on the video game franchise of the same name and starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, takes a strong first week on the chart, supplanting Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s chart topper Sing 2 on digital downloads only. The animated musical still saw a strong week of sales following its release on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD.
Kenneth Branagh’s Oscar-nominated Belfast (Universal) climbed two spots to No. 3, earning its highest chart placing to date. Sony’s perennial charter Spider-Man: No Way Home fell to No. 4, and Paramount Home Media’s Jackass Forever was down two spots to No. 5. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s Dune held on to No. 6.
Disney-owned 20th Century Studios’ Death on the Nile tumbled three spots to No. 7, while Warner’s The Matrix Resurrections finished the week at No. 8.
EIV’s new chart entry, Moonfall, starring Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson and John Bradley, debuted at No. 9, thanks to its release on disc. Finally, Universal’s Downton Abbey movie climbed eight spots to No. 10, following the release of sequel, Downton Abbey: A New Era, in theaters.
