Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Bullet Train sped back to the No. 1 position in the United Kingdom on the weekly Official Film Chart through Nov. 2.
The Brad Pitt action comedy reclaimed the top spot from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Minions: The Rise of Gru (No. 3), due to physical sales on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and 4K UHD Blu-ray.
At No. 2, and the week’s highest new entry, was the low-budget slasher film Terrifier 2, which has become somewhat of a horror-movie phenomenon, being dubbed the “goriest film of the year.” Antagonist Art the Clown is resurrected and returns to the town of Miles County to target two young siblings on Halloween night.
No. 4 Universal’s Jurassic World Dominion moved up one place, while Warner Bros. Entertainment’s Austin Butler-led biopic Elvis held strong at No. 5. The studio’s The Batman soared back to No. 6 after climbing 10 places, finishing ahead of Sony’s Where the Crawdads Sing (No. 7), Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick (No. 8) and Universal’s Sing 2 (No. 9).
Recent chart-topper Disney/Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder rounded off the chart at No. 10.
