Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Uncharted finished No. 1 in sales for the second week on the Official Film Chart in the United Kingdom through May 11.
Adapted from the video game series of the same name, the movie stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: No Way Home) as fortune hunter Nathan Drake, who teams up with his mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan (played by Mark Wahlberg) to locate the treasure of the lost Magellan expedition.
But things get complicated when Nate and Sully cross corrupt billionaire Santiago Moncada (Antoni Banderas) and his henchwoman Jo Braddock (Tati Gabrielle) who seek to claim the treasure for themselves.
Elsewhere on the chart this week, former chart-topper Sing 2 (Universal Pictures Home Entertainment) held the No. 2 spot, while SPHE’s Spider-Man: No Way Home moved back up to the No. 3 spot. Warner Bros. Pictures’ sci-fi reboot Dune returned to the top five at the No. 4 spot.
Paramount Home Entertainment’s Jackass Forever retained the No. 5 spot, while Disney-Pixar’s Turning Red made its chart debut at No. 6, following its release on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and 4K UHD Blu-ray, it was previously available to stream only on Disney+.
Kenneth Branagh’s murder-mystery Death on the Nile is treading water at No. 7, while the acclaimed writer-director’s Oscar-winning biopic Belfast tumbled to No. 8.
The weeks top 10 was rounded out by Warner’s The Matrix Resurrections at No. 9 and Downtown Abbey: The Movie (Universal Pictures) at No. 10.
