Sling TV Moves E!, Paramount Network to Base Service

In a switch, Sling TV March 27 moved E! and Paramount Network channels from its “lifestyle” and “comedy” add-ons to its Sling Blue base service at no added cost.

Sling Blue costs $25/month, or $15/month for the first three months with Sling TV’s new customer promotion. The online TV pioneer topped 2.4 million subscribers at the end of 2018.

“While other streaming providers are removing programming and raising prices, we’ve added two popular entertainment channels to Sling without inflating costs for our customers,” Dana McLeod, VP of programming at Sling TV, said in a statement.

Paramount Network remains a separate $5 monthly add-on the $20/month Sling Blue plan at

E! offers pop culture and lifestyle content, including “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Botched,” “Very Cavallari,” “E! News,” “Live from the Red Carpet” and “The People’s Choice Awards.”

Paramount Network provides original scripted and unscripted series, including “Yellowstone,” starring Kevin Costner, “Lip Sync Battle” and “Bar Rescue.,” among others.

E! and Paramount Network include live regularly-scheduled programming as well as hundreds of on-demand titles.
