‘Scoob!’ Leads Redbox Disc Rentals for Fourth Week; ‘Tax Collector’ Again Tops Digital Chart

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s Scoob! remained in the top spot on the Redbox kiosk disc rental chart the week ended Aug. 16, its fourth week in the top spot since arriving on disc July 21.

The top title on the Redbox On Demand chart, which tracks digital rental transactions, was again RLJ Films’ The Tax Collector, its second week as the top digital title.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s You Should Have Left was the No. 2 disc rental for a third week, and slipped to No. 3 on the Redbox On Demand chart.

Redbox offers early availability of the disc, which will be widely released Aug. 25. Deep Blue Sea 3 did become widely available digitally, however, and placed No. 2 on the On Demand chart.

The newly released The Wretched, from IFC, was the No. 4 title on the disc rental chart.
