Samsung Offering TV Owners Free 90-Day Access to Apple TV+

Samsung is now offering select TV owners through Nov. 28 free three-month access to the Apple TV+ streaming video platform. Eligible customers with 2018-22 Samsung Smart TV models can redeem the limited time offer by opening the Apple TV app on the Samsung TV home screen and following the onscreen instructions.

Apple TV+ original content includes this year’s Oscar Best Picture winner CODA, Emmy Award winner “Ted Lasso,” and series such as “Severance,” “Loot,” “Pachinko,” “For All Mankind,” as well as sports, beginning with “Friday Night Baseball.”

Apple TV+, which launched 11 days ahead of Disney+ in 2019, is available in more than 100 countries and regions. After a sluggish start, the platform claims to be the first all-original streaming service to launch worldwide and claims to have premiered more original hits and received more award recognitions faster than any other streaming service in its debut. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries, and series have been honored with 250 wins and 1,115 awards nominations.

The service reportedly had 25 million paid subscribers through March 31, according to Statista. There are another 50 million Apple TV+ users worldwide that access the platform through promotions and purchases of Apple devices.

The promotional offer is valid only for new subscribers to Apple TV+ above the age of 13. Limit one offer per TV and Apple ID. Plan automatically renews at $4.99 per month until canceled. Requires Apple ID with payment method on file.
