‘Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical’ Tops U.K. Home Entertainment Sales for Third Week

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical remained atop the U.K. Home Entertainment sales chart for a third week following its release on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The title was also the top-selling digital movie on the Official Film Chart for the week ended March 1.
At No. 2 for a second week was Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, finishing ahead of another chart returner, Paramount Home Entertainment’s Top Gun: Maverick.
Moving up the chart was Warner Bros.’ Elvis at No. 4, following its success at the 2023 BAFTAs where it won four awards — Best Actor in a Leading Role (Austin Butler), Best Casting, Best Costume Design and Best Make Up & Hair.
Rounding out the top five was Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Minions: The Rise of Gru (No. 5) closely followed by Jurassic World Dominion (No. 6) and Sony’s Bullet Train, which moved up two spots to No. 7. Warner’s Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore vaulted back into the top 10 at No. 8, while the studio’s Black Adam dropped three spots to No. 9. The week’s No. 10 was former chart-topper The Batman — Warner’s fourth charting title for the week.
