Consumers subscribed to Netflix’s new basic ad-supported tier are missing some top content, according to new research from Reelgood.
Reelgood pulled data on how much content was missing on the ad-supported plan compared to the ad-free subscription and what most popular titles ad-supported service users won’t have access to.
Hundreds of movies and TV shows are missing on the ad-supported tier, according to the Reelgood data.
Meanwhile, some of the top movies and TV shows are reserved for the ad-free Netflix tiers. Reelgood ranked some of the popular movies and TV shows not available on the ad-supported tier. Top movies include Bullet Train, Where the Crawdads Sing and Uncharted. Top TV shows include “The Walking Dead,” “Peaky Blinders” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
