Peacock to Begin Streaming DreamWorks Animation’s ‘The Bad Guys’ on July 1

DreamWorks Animation’s The Bad Guys begins streaming exclusively on NBCUniversal’s Peacock service on July 1 — 70 days after the movie’s April 22 theatrical debut. The title, which generated almost $243 million at the global box office, including $95 million domestically, was released on packaged media June 21.

Based on the scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey, The Bad Guys features Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula as the world’s most-wanted villains following years of money heists. After the gang is finally caught, Mr. Wolf brokers a deal to keep them out of prison and the Bad Guys set out to fool the world into believing they’ve gone good.

The movie features an all-star voice cast, including Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh and Alex Borstein.

The Bad Guys is the latest movie addition to Peacock’s library of theatrical releases, including Downton Abbey: A New Era, Firestarter, Ambulance and The Outfit.
