Paramount+ to Stream Content Aboard Delta Flights
January 5, 2023
Paramount+ and Delta Air Lines Jan. 5 announced an exclusive partnership that will bring the streaming service to Delta SkyMiles members. Starting this spring, the air carrier’s loyalty members on flights originating in the U.S. will have access to a special free trial of ad-free Paramount+ Premium.
“Partnerships with some of the world’s largest and strongest consumer brands … have been key to growth of Paramount+ by engaging new consumers,” Jeff Shultz, chief strategy officer and chief business development officer at Paramount Streaming, said in a statement.
A month ago, Paramount+ partnered with British Airways for free streaming access on international flights.
As a partner in the launch of Delta Sync Exclusives hub, Paramount+ will offer air travelers the ability to stream Paramount movies and TV shows on their personal mobile device.
“Paramount not only represents the best of the streaming industry, but they also share our passion for delivering personalized experiences fit to individual customers in ways that bring the experience in the sky closer to what you would find at home,” said Ranjan Goswami, SVP of customer experience design at Atlanta-based Delta.
Delta is set to offer free Wi-Fi access aboard more than 700 Viasat-equipped aircraft by the end of 2023.
