Nielsen: ‘The Watcher’ Repeated as Top-Streamed Weekly Household Content Through Oct. 23

Netflix original limited drama series “The Watcher” retained the top spot among streamed household content for the week ended Oct. 23, according to new data from Nielsen. The series starring Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale and Mia Farrow, among others, neared 2.6 billion minutes of total viewing time across seven episodes — up 10% from 2.35 billion minutes in the previous week.

In the No. 2 spot was Netflix original movie The School for Good and Evil, which generated more than 1.06 billion minutes viewed, while HBO Max’s “Game of Thrones” prequel “House of the Dragon” rounded out the podium with 1.01 billion minutes viewed across 10 episodes.

Award-winning original series “The Sinner,” co-starring Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman, returned for its fourth season on Netflix, generating 935 million minutes viewed across 32 episodes.
