Nielsen: Netflix’s ‘The Watcher’ Replaces ‘Dahmer’ Atop Weekly Streaming Chart Through Oct. 16

Netflix original series “The Watcher” debuted atop Nielsen’s most-streamed content chart for the week ended Oct. 16 with more than 2.4 billion minutes viewed. The tally was enough to unseat three-time weekly champ “Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” which ended the period at No. 3 with 1.1 billion minutes viewed. No. 2 was Prime Video’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” with 1.14 billion minutes streamed. Reportedly the most expensive TV show ever created, “Rings of Power” saw its viewership minutes increase 13% from 988 million last week.

Notably, the Oct. 14 theatrical/SVOD debut of Halloween Ends on Peacock generated 717 million minutes viewed at the No. 8 spot.
