Nielsen: Netflix’s ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Topped Weekly Household Streaming Through Jan. 8

The Netflix original series “Ginny & Georgia” dominated weekly household TV streaming with more than 2.5 billion minutes across 20 episodes through Jan. 8, according to new data from Nielsen Media Research.

The second season of the show highlighting a dysfunctional mother/daughter relationship, knocked off the previous chart topper, Netflix original movie Glass Onion, which ended the week No. 5 with 935 million minutes. Rounding out the podium was Netflix’s “Kaleidoscope” with 1.63 billion minutes across eight episodes, and the “Addams Family” spin-off series “Wednesday,” which ended the period with more than 1 billion minutes across eight episodes.

Netflix again dominated the week, generating 80% of the top 10 streamed content minutes viewed, followed by Prime Video’s “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” with 918 million minutes across 24 episodes, and Peacock’s “Yellowstone,” with 750 million minutes across 39 episodes.
