Netflix’s ‘Red Notice,’ ‘Tiger King’ Top Weekly Whip Media Streaming Charts

Netflix’s Red Notice led the Whip Media chart of top streaming movies, while the service’s “Tiger King” led the chart of top streaming originals among U.S. consumers the week ended Nov. 21.

Red Notice is an action adventure starring Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot. It started streaming on Netflix Nov. 12.

The second season of “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness,” which started streaming on Netflix Nov. 17, explores the dysfunctional world of big cat collectors.

Coming in at No. 2 on the streaming movies chart was Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which became available for digital viewing at no additional cost to Disney+ subscribers Nov. 12. The 25th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Simi Liu in the title role, a hero who must face the past he thought he left behind and confront his father Xu Wenwu (Tony Leung), leader of the dangerous Ten Rings organization. Awkwafina also stars.

Taking the bronze on the streaming movies chart was Dune: Part One, Warner Bros. Pictures/Legendary Pictures’ adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 science-fiction novel. The film, which stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya, debuted on HBO Max Oct. 21.

Remaining at No. 2 on the streaming originals chart was Netflix’s “You.” Season three of the psychological thriller series started streaming Oct. 15 and features the continuation of Joe Goldberg’s fraught relationship with Love, who is pregnant with his child in a new suburban home.

Landing at No. 3 on the streaming originals chart was Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show,” season two of which debuted Sept. 17. It follows a network news morning show team and stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
