Netflix’s original series “The Crown” continued its reign atop the streamer’s weekly top 10 chart with 84.31 million hours viewed. Season five of the fictional drama, inspired by real events, appeared in the top 10 in 86 countries.
The multi-language German series “1899” debuted on the English-language TV List with 79.27 million hours viewed, while the fourth and final season of erstwhile NBC series “Manifest” saw another 35.73 million hours viewed. Renewed interest in season one realized almost 26 million hours viewed. The final season of “Dead to Me,” starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, generated 30.3 million hours viewed, while season two of “Warrior Nun” had 27.74 million hours viewed, with season one jumping into the top 10 with 20.1 million hours.
In its second week, Falling For Christmas topped the English-language movie chart with 37.85 million hours viewed. Starring Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet, the holiday romantic comedy was in the top 10 in 93 countries. Jason Momoa’s family fantasy Slumberland had 33.37 million hours across 88 countries. Millie Bobby Brown-starrer Enola Holmes 2 (21.42 million hours) and Enola Holmes (7.61 million hours) both remained on the chart along with drama The Wonder, starring Florence Pugh, which saw 26.18 million hours.
French action-adventure Lost Bullet 2 maintained its hold on the No. 1 spot of the non-English-language movie chart with 18.7 million hours viewed. The original Lost Bullet was also on the list with 6.87 million hours viewed. Other returning favorites included German drama All Quiet on the Western Front, which moved up the most popular list to No. 3 with 98.54 million total hours viewed.
Colombian drama “Til Money Do Us Part” continued to sit atop the non-English-language TV List with almost 40 million hours. Two Spanish titles were new entrants this week: season six of teen drama “Elite,” with 36.9 million hours, and reality series,”Love Never Lies: Destination Sardinia,” with 5.42 million hours. Korean dramas “Little Women,” “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” all returned to the chart.
