Netflix Rolling Out Mobile Video Games on Nov. 3
November 2, 2021
Netflix Nov. 3 will launch a series of video games subscribers can play for free on Android devices. Apple iOS users will have access to the games at an unspecified later date.
The SVOD behemoth in August began testing mobile games in Poland and Spain based on original series, including “Stranger Things,” and related basic games. The platform earlier hired former Facebook game executive Mike Verdu to run the streamer’s gaming aspirations. Verdu previously worked at Electronic Arts, Kabam, Zynga and Atari.
