With Netflix throwing its hat into the digital data ratings business, the streamer exploded out of the gates, with original actioner Red Notice dominating the competition with a record 4.2 million weekend views.
While the streamer is reporting content ratings in viewership time — not households — Red Notice, which co-stars Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), tracked an impressive 148.7 million hours viewed.

Indeed, the movie topped previous opening weekend streaming records, including Warner Bros. Pictures’ Mortal Kombat (3.8 million households), Wonder Woman 1984 (2.2 million) and Dune (1.9 million).
