Merchandising: Retailers Line Up Bespoke ‘King’s Man’ Sets

Retailers offered several exclusives among the Feb. 22 new releases. The most prominent were tied to Disney-owned 20th Century Studios’ The King’s Man, director Matthew Vaughn’s prequel to his “Kingsman” spy action franchise.

Target offered the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack of The King’s Man with exclusive box art and a limited-edition gallery booklet for $34.99.

Walmart’s 4K combo pack of The King’s Man came with a DVD bonus disc of two exclusive featurettes for $32.99.

Best Buy’s King’s Man exclusive was a Steelbook boxed set of The Kingsman Collection containing 4K Steelbooks of all three “Kingsman” movies for $58.99.

Separately, Best Buy had 4K Blu-rays for Lionsgate’s The Hurt Locker for $19.99, and Warner’s The Green Mile for $29.99.

Walmart also had a Blu-ray Disc combo pack gift set of the new Kurt Warner biopic American Underdog containing a journal for $22.96.
