

LG Offering Smart-TV Owners Free Access to Apple TV+ Streaming Service

Beginning Nov. 15, LG Smart-TV owners in more than 80 countries will have free three-month access to the Apple TV+ subscription streaming service. The promotion reverts to a $4.99 monthly subscription thereafter unless canceled.
Apple launched its branded streaming service in November 2019 days before the launch of Disney+. The CE giant has offered free 12-months of streaming service to anyone purchasing an Apple device, including iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac computer.

The LG promotion applies to all compatible 2016-21 8K and 4K LG Smart-TV models and is available to LG TV owners who sign-up for the promotion by Feb. 13, 2022. The offer is redeemable by following the on-screen instructions in the LG Content Store or by clicking the Apple TV+ advertisement banner on the LG TV home menu.

Apple TV+ original programming includes award-winning comedy “Ted Lasso,” starring and executive produced by Jason Sudeikis; “The Morning Show,” starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon; and the world-building saga “Foundation,” which marks the first-ever on-screen adaptation of the Isaac Asimov novel series.
New titles debuting this week include “Dr. Brain,” the first Korean-language original series based on a popular Korean webtoon, and Finch, starring Tom Hanks marking his follow-up to World War II naval actioner Greyhound.
