After weeks of the same, streamers sought new content for the period ended March 6. New data from JustWatch found that viewers streamed Steven Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story the most, while the newest season of “Killing Eve” captivated episodic content fans. JustWatch tracks more than 20 million users’ monthly streaming decisions across 54 countries.
Available on Disney+ and HBO Max, Oscar-nominated West Side Story bested fellow Oscar-nomination Licorice Pizza, from director Paul Thomas Anderson, and Universal Pictures’ animated musical sequel Sing 2. Among TV shows, the latest season of “Killing Eve” on AMC+ topped Netflix’s “Vikings” and perennial chart topper “Yellowstone,” (streaming on Peacock) starring Kevin Costner.
