Paramount Network/Peacock Montana family drama “Yellowstone” and the dystopian restaurant thriller The Menu topped weekly TV show and movie streaming through Jan. 8, according to new data from JustWatch, which tracks the streaming video habits of 20 million users across 59 markets, including the U.S.
The Menu, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy, showcases a couple who discover that dining at an exclusive restaurant on a remote island has its unwanted surprises.
The movie bested two older films with new sequels, Knives Out (2019) at No. 3 and Avatar (2009) at No. 2. Among the top three episodic programs, Netflix’s “Wednesday” (No. 2) and its ensemble thriller “Kaleidoscope” (No. 3) dominated TV viewing.
