James Bond Breaks Christmas Spell as ‘No Time to Die’ Tops U.K. Home Entertainment Chart

After weeks of Christmas-themed movies topping U.K. home entertainment retail sales, the debut of MGM’s latest James Bond thriller No Time to Die topped the Official Film Chart through Dec. 22.

The fifth and final chapter in Daniel Craig’s run as Agent 007, which was delayed theatrically until September following a 22-month pandemic break, saw more than 74,000-unit sales, dominated by digital downloads.

Meanwhile, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s The Grinch (2018) saw its three-week reign at No. 1 end, finishing the week at No. 4, behind the studio’s holiday catalog title How the Grinch Stole Christmas (No. 2) and Warner’s Elf (No. 3).
