Chappaquiddick, based on the tragic car accident involving Senator Edward M. Kennedy, will arrive on digital July 3 and Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and digital), DVD, and On Demand July 10 from Lionsgate.
The film stars Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Ed Helms and Bruce Dern in a historical thriller that examines the infamous 1969 death of Mary Jo Kopechne, who drowned after Kennedy drove off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island.
Bonus features include the featurettes “A Reckoning: Revisiting Chappaquiddick” and “Bridge to the Past: Editing the Film.”
The film earned $17.2 million at the domestic box office.
