HBO Max Orders Soderbergh Limited Series ‘Full Circle’

HBO Max has ordered the limited series “Full Circle” from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon.

The series follows an Investigation into a botched kidnapping that uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.

Soderbergh will direct all six episodes of the series and serve as executive producer with Solomon as writer and executive producer. Casey Silver is also an executive producer. The trio re-teams after the recent HBO Max film No Sudden Move.

“We are thrilled to be working with Steven, Ed and Casey again after the masterful crime drama, No Sudden Move,” Joey Chavez, EVP of original drama at HBO Max, said in a statement. “This new limited series is full of twists and turns in the way only this team can do.”

“Even by Ed’s standards this is a complex narrative that manages to be both kaleidoscopic and intimate,” Soderbergh said in a statement. “Our task now is to assemble a great cast and make sure we execute at the level the scripts deserve.”
