

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Dominated Weekly Netflix Streaming Through Jan. 15

Season two of the mother/daughter dramedy “Ginny & Georgia” topped Netflix’s English-language TV list and overall weekly content ranking with 162.72 million hours viewed through Jan. 15. Season one of the series, created by Sarah Lampert and co-starring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, ranked in the Top 10 in 88 countries.
Perennial favorite “Wednesday,” starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams from “The Addams Family,” finished No. 3 for the week, tallying another 57.82 million hours viewed to up its overall total to near 1.24 billion hours. Season two of “Vikings: Valhalla” returned to the Netflix chart with 55.35 million hours viewed. The new season jumpstarted interest in the first season with 25.5 million hours logged.
In its second week of release, heist drama “Kaleidoscope” pulled in 46.57 million hours viewed. Finally, “Emily in Paris” (25.04 million hours viewed) and “The Recruit” (13.43 million hours viewed) remain on the list.

Among English-language movies, the Christian Bale-starrer The Pale Blue Eye topped the list with almost 40 million hours viewed in its second week of release. Directed by Scott Cooper, the 19th-century detective thriller was in the top 10 in 92 countries.
Among new releases, disturbing documentary The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker finished No. 2 with 21.27 million hours viewed, while the family drama Dog Gone tallied almost 19 million hours viewed.
In its fourth week of release, big budget sequel Glass Onion generated another 20 million hours viewed to move into the No. 4 spot on the Most Popular List with 273.2 million hours total streamed since its debut. Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical remained on the list at No. 6 with another 8.3 million hours logged after three weeks.
On the non-English Movies list, Mexican drama Noise debuted with 7.2 million hours viewed. Polish drama How I Became a Gangster (7 million hours), Colombian drama The Kings of the World (3.4 million), Norwegian action-adventure Troll (2.52 million), German drama All Quiet on the Western Front (2.22 million), and Indian action-adventure RRR (1.82 million) all returned to the list.
On the non-English-language TV list, season three of Mexican drama “La Reina del Sur” finished No. 1 with almost 52 million hours viewed. Korean revenge drama “The Glory” (40.1 million hours), dating competition series “Singles Inferno” (20.3 million), and drama “Alchemy of Souls 2″ (15 million) remained in the top 10. Japanese drama “Alice In Borderland (23.2 million), Austrian thriller “Woman of the Dead” (28.7 million), Spanish comedy “Alpha Males” (15.2 million), and Brazilian titles “Lady Voyeur” (12.5 million hours) and season two of reality series “Love is Blind: Brazil” (11.9 million hours viewed) completed the list.
