S’more Entertainment, through the MVD Entertainment Group, will release DVD collections of the “The Dick Cavett Show” in December and January.
Cavett has been hosting his own talk show since 1968 in a variety of formats through television and radio.
The first collection, The Dick Cavett Show: And That’s the Way It Is, drops Dec. 18 with a selection of episodes that aired between 1968 and 1996, featuring interviews with several of the best-known reporters of the era, including Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Barbara Walters, Mike Wallace and Diane Sawyer.
Also due Dec. 18 is The Dick Cavett Show: Inside the Minds Of Vol. 1, featuring episodes from 1968 to 1996 featuring notable comedians, including Robin Williams, Bobcat Goldthwait, Richard Lewis and Gilbert Gottfried.
Inside the Minds of Vol. 2 arrives Jan. 22 with episodes from 1990 to 1995 featuring the likes of George Carlin, Martin Mull and Steve Martin.
